Reports of a Potential Scam in the Name of TurboVote

A couple of states have reported residents receiving phone calls impersonating the organization TurboVote to provide voter registration assistance and phish for voters personal information.

TurboVote does not register voters over the phone.  Anyone reporting this activity should be told to ignore it and directed to the proper channels for voter registration.

Michigan Votes

Election is Nov. 6 
Get out and vote!

Secretary of State Ruth Johnson is reminding eligible voters to cast ballots in the state’s general election on Tuesday, Nov. 6.

The polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To check their registration status, residents may visit the Michigan Voter Information Center at Michigan.gov/vote. They can see their sample ballot and find their polling place. Residents also can find information on absentee voting, Michigan’s voter identification requirement and how to contact their local clerk.

 


You can use your credit card to pay your water bills, property taxes, etc. at the Township Hall.

(A processing fee will be charged)
